Product
Overview:
A flow control valve designed for the control of high
pressure gaseous propellants.
The design comprises of two essentially identical, solenoid
operated, normally closed, poppet type valves mounted coaxially
in series. Each of these solenoid valves comprises a coil,
fixed pole and a suspended moving/armature, to which is attached
a sealing pin, the valve seat is located in the valve outlet.
The poppet/seat interface has been designed to minimise flow
discontinuities and therefore reduce susceptibility to contamination
induced failures.
This valve is an adaptation of the successful SV06/SV14 series
of valves modified for high pressure use by the introduction
of the “pin-in-hole” sealing arrangement and the
use of electron beam welds in a stronger body.
